Stafflab is a Swedish-Polish staffing agency renting out chefs, pantry cooks, dishwashers and waitstaff to restaurants, hotels, caterers and corporate kitchens across Sweden. Recruitment and staffing are run from our EU office in Kraków.

We build an agency that works both ways: Swedish restaurants get professionals on the floor when it counts, and service-industry people get fair terms at Swedish market level, insurance and wages paid on time, no middle-man games.

Stafflab is part of Lab Ecosystem — two studios for the restaurant industry. Stafflab handles staffing; our sister studio restolab builds restaurant concepts — from idea to first guest.

STAFFLAB Sp. z o.o. is registered in the Krajowy Rejestr Agencji Zatrudnienia (KRAZ), the Polish national register of employment agencies. Registration number 30337, active since 4 September 2023.

The licence covers employment intermediation (pośrednictwo pracy) and temporary work (praca tymczasowa). The register is maintained by Marszałek Województwa Małopolskiego and can be looked up openly via the Polish public employment service.

— Principles

Six things we refuse to compromise on.

PRINCIPLE 01

Everyone who cooks is a chef — not "imported labour".

Our chefs are trained professionals with references, not nameless hands. They are always introduced with name, photo and CV before the shift.

PRINCIPLE 02

Swedish market-level pay is not optional.

We pay wages, unsocial-hours supplements and holiday pay at Swedish market level for the role. No sub-contractor chains, no black hours.

PRINCIPLE 03

Wages are paid before the invoice is.

Staff get paid on the 25th, whether the client has paid on time or not. That's our risk to carry, not theirs.

PRINCIPLE 04

A1 certificate, F-tax and insurance in place.

All posted staff carry a valid A1 certificate from ZUS. Everyone has occupational, accident and liability insurance through us. Papers are emailed to you before the shift.

PRINCIPLE 05

The same chef next time, if the chemistry was right.

Did it work? Book the same person directly. We prefer long-term relationships over rotating anonymous people through your kitchen.

PRINCIPLE 06

We always pick up the phone.

When you call, a human picks up, a coordinator who knows the assignment and the chefs. No support queues.
